Have you ever wondered what life was like for Wyoming's pioneers?

You can discover what hardships and adventures families encountered on their travels west at the Wyoming State Museum's next Family Days on Saturday, May 2.

Stop by the Wyoming State Museum anytime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, at the Barrett Building, 2301 Central Ave., for their free program about what life may have been like for pioneer families who headed west to make their new homes.

Activities you'll find at the Going West event include games that the pioneers played and creating your own western town. The Wyoming State Museum's Family Days programs are held on the first Saturday of each month from September through May.

Enjoy a little family time this weekend learning about some of the families who braved the elements and the unknown in their quests to find new homes in the west.
