As the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl draws closer for the Wyoming Cowboys, so does the end of a career for nine Cowboy players.

One of those is offensive lineman Ryan Cummings. He’s started at either tackle or guard since his freshman season. Cummings missed the Poinsettia Bowl a year ago due to injury and has played in only seven of the 12 games this season because of injury or illness.

He’s looking forward to one last chance to play in a brown and gold uniform. Cummings spoke with KOWB’s David Settle about this bowl game. He talks about a message to fans, lessons from last year’s bowl loss, the Pokes’ offense, how big the return of Josh Allen would be and more.

Next Friday, Dec. 22 will mark the first meeting between Wyoming and Central Michigan on a football field since 2002, which was a game won by the Chippewas in Michigan.

Kick-off is at 2 p.m., Mountain Time. Tickets are still available. The game will be televised on ESPN.
