LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming Sen. Mike Enzi says Senate Republicans need to get over their disagreements about health-care reform and pass a bill.

The Senate is likely to make significant changes, if not start over completely, when it takes up a health-care reform bill recently passed by the House.

Enzi says one problem with the existing Affordable Care Act is many people don't sign up until they get really sick. Those people then benefit from expensive care without having paid into the system.

Opponents of the House bill including some Republicans worry it could effectively deny coverage to people with pre-existing medical conditions.

Wyoming Republican Rep. Liz Cheney says there's no change to the prohibition against denying coverage and the issue has to do with the cost of coverage.
