Last Tuesday the Campbell County School District trustees approved a proposal for a four day school week starting next year, according to the Billings Gazette.

The schools that would be affected by this are Cottonwood Elementary in Wright, Wyo, Wright Junior-Senior High School, Recluse School of Gillette and 4-J School in Gillette.  All four principals of these schools came together last Tuesday and expressed why they think the four day school week will be better, there are a number of students absent every Friday due to sports, activities and family commitments.  The one major concern is, the school days will be longer next year leaving children to wait for the bus in the dark.

Trustees voted unanimously to approve the proposal.
