Wyoming workers put in longer days, have more jobs and volunteer more time than almost any state in the country. A recent study ranked the Cowboy State as the third hardest working state in America.

Wyoming had the third longest average workweek, placed sixth for volunteer hours, and finished 15th for the number of employees with multiple jobs. When we're not working, we're relaxing. The Cowboy State ranked 16th for the average amount of leisure time spent per day, according to Wallet Hub.

Only Alaska and North Dakota outworked Wyoming in the study. South Dakota, Nebraska, and Colorado ranked in fourth, fifth, and eighth place, respectively. Michigan finished last on the list of hardest working states. Rhode Island, West Virginia, New Mexico, and Oregon rounded out the bottom five.
