An article in the Wall Street Journal Tuesday, "Wyoming Plays it Cool", reaffirmed Wyoming's position as one of the best places in the U.S. for data centers. The article talks about the state's cool climate, abundant and expensive power and target incentives from the Legislature as reasons for data centers to locate in Wyoming. Wyoming Business Council CEO Bob Jensen says the organization has made the growth and recruitment of data center and other high tech companies one if its top priorities. He says the WBC is working closely with Gov. Matt Mead's office and local economic development organizations to show companies that the state is the right place for expansion.
