Wyoming National Guard Open House Cheyenne Frontier Days

It was a chance to see, up close, how it all works, and to meet the men and women who volunteer to serve.

Smiling faces in uniform explained who their machines worked and what life was like in their chosen profession.

Amazing demonstrations of precision discipline wowed the crowds.

"WOW" was the word most often used by kids of all ages as they got to climb in the cockpits of various machines and touch the controls.

Also on display were various fire fighting craft from around the country and a weather research place from the University Of Wyoming.
