Wyoming Army National Guard Capt. Eric Will, of Torrington, Wyo., assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 115th Fires Brigade, based in Cheyenne, was awarded the Seven Seals Award and the 20-Year Wyoming National Guard Service Device. Will received the Seven Seals Award, on Aug. 4, for meritorious leadership and initiative in support of the men and women who serve America in the National Guard and Reserves.  Janet Cowley, a member of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, presented the award. Will also received, on Aug. 4, the Wyoming National Guard 20-Year Service Device for completion of 20 years collective honorable service in Wyoming. Capt. Matthew Berry, the battery commander, presented the award. Besides serving with the 115th Fires Brigade, Will is a full-time employee of the Wyoming Army National Guard at the Camp Guernsey Joint Training Center.

  • Wyoming Army National Guard Maj. Terry Jenkins, of Wheatland, Wyo., assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 115th Fires Brigade, based in Cheyenne, was awarded the Seven Seals Award, Aug. 4.  Jenkins received the Seven Seals Award for meritorious leadership and initiative in support of the men and women who serve America in the National Guard and Reserves.  Janet Cowley, a member of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, presented the award.  Jenkins is a full-time employee of the Wyoming Army National Guard serving with the 115th Fires Brigade.
  • Jacob Young, of Cheyenne, was promoted to Specialist in the Wyoming Army National Guard, Aug. 3. Young is an air defense artillery specialist assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 115th Fires Brigade, based in Cheyenne.
  • Wyoming Army National Guard Master Sgt. Susan Marquez, of Cheyenne, assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 115th Fires Brigade, based in Cheyenne, was awarded the Army Good Conduct Medal fourth and fifth award, Aug. 3.  The honor was presented to Marquez for completion of creditable service in the armed forces of the United States from Dec. 30, 2005 to Dec. 29, 2008,and again from Dec. 30, 2008 to Dec. 29, 2011. Capt. Matthew Berry, the battery commander, presented the award.
  • Wyoming Army National Guard Staff Sgt. Michael Upton, of Cheyenne, assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 115th Fires Brigade, based in Cheyenne, was awarded the Army Good Conduct Medal second award, Aug. 5.  The honor was presented to Upton for completion of creditable service in the armed forces of the United States from Sept. 1, 2008 to Aug. 31, 2011. Capt. Matthew Berry, the battery commander, presented the award.
  • Wyoming Army National Guard Spc. Adeline Andree, of Minturn, Colo., was awarded the Army Achievement Medal, Aug. 4. Andree, assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 115th Fires Brigade, based in Cheyenne, received the award for setting an unwavering example of junior leadership during the move of the brigade library. Col. Brian Nesvik, the commander of the 115th Fires Brigade, presented the award.
  • Sgt.  Michaila Bliss, of Cheyenne, retired from the Wyoming Army National Guard recently, after 18 years of service. She most recently served as a financial specialist with the Joint Forces Headquarters, in Cheyenne.  Other duty assignments have included Ft. Jackson, S.C., and the Colorado Army National Guard. Bliss began her military career as an administrative specialist with the 115th Field Artillery Brigade, in 1982.  Bliss plans to move to Carbondale, Colo., where she plans to attend school.
  • Wyoming Army National Guard Staff Sgt. Onesimo Garza, of Walden, Colo., assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 115th Fires Brigade, based in Cheyenne, was awarded the Wyoming National Guard 10-Year Service Device, Aug. 3.  The honor was presented to Garza for completion of 10 years of collective honorable service in Wyoming. Capt. Matthew Berry, the battery commander,presented the award.
  • Jessica Miller, of Cheyenne, was promoted to Specialist in the Wyoming Army National Guard, Aug. 3. Miller is an information technology specialist in the 148th Signal Company, based in Cheyenne. She has been a member of the Wyoming National Guard for two years.  Miller is on active duty orders as an assistant incentive manager with the Wyoming Army National Guard, in Cheyenne.
