Pick up any Wyoming Lottery tickets for Wednesday's Powerball drawing?

The estimated jackpot for Wednesday's Powerball drawing had reached over $40 million when the numbers were picked at 9 p.m. mountain time. Take a look to see how many you matched.

Do you have a lottery habit? Many people regularly buy Wyoming Lottery tickets along with their snacks or beverages. There are six lottery drawings held each week now; the Cowboy Draw numbers are picked at 2 p.m. on Thursdays and Mondays, Mega Millions drawings are held Fridays and Tuesdays and the Powerball jackpots announce their digits on Wednesday and Saturday nights.

These are the winning Powerball numbers picked on Wednesday, August 5, 2015:

 9-11-14-16-42 and 19 with a Power Play of 2x

Since lottery tickets first started being sold in Wyoming last August, more than $5 million have been won by WyoLotto players across the Cowboy State. The Wyoming Lottery started their own game on March 15 called Cowboy Draw. So far there have been four winners of jackpots, all over $250,000. The historic first jackpot was the largest given away yet. It was picked up by a couple in Douglas who won $628,630. The current jackpot has reached $420,000.

Now that the Wyoming Lottery has been running for a year, how do you think it's gone so far? Do you think the WyoLotto needs to be overseen by a lottery commission?
