Looking for something fun and affordable to do this weekend?

The Wyoming Kids Xtreme Ice Festival hits the grounds outside the Barrett Building in downtown Cheyenne Saturday, January 21, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The free annual ice festival is hosted by the Wyoming State Parks, Historic Sites and Trails and encourages kids, young and old, to enjoy the outdoors even in the Winter.

Activities scheduled include ice sculpting, a snowshoe demonstration, a toboggan run, a snowmobile simulator, horse and carriage rides, snow games and a kid-friendly World War II exhibit.

The Wyoming State Museum is located inside the Barrett Building at 2301 Central Avenue. The Wyoming Kids Xtreme Ice Festival happens Saturday on the south lawn area.
