CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming's unemployment rate remains at 4.1 percent.

The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services reported Tuesday no change in the rate between November and December.

It says the highest unemployment rates in December were found in Big Horn County at 5.2 percent, Park County at 4.8 percent, Fremont at 4.7 percent and Sublette at 4.5 percent.

Niobrara County reported the lowest unemployment rate at 2.4 percent, followed by Goshen County at 2.9 percent and Weston, Crook, and Albany counties, all at 3.0 percent.

Total nonfarm employment in Wyoming increased from 280,400 in December 2017 to 288,600 in December 2018. That is a gain of 8,200 jobs over the year.
