Wyoming Hit-And-Run Suspect Sought

The Sweetwater County Sheriff's Office is looking for a suspect in a hit-and-run incident that happened near Rock Springs late Friday afternoon.

Sheriff Mike Lowell said that at around 5 p.m. on August 31, a pickup truck backed into a pole at the Self-Assured Storage lot at 93 Purple Sage Road near Rock Springs. The driver of the vehicle used the keypad at the storage lot, and his image (shown here) was caught on the facility's video surveillance system.

Sheriff Lowell is asking anyone with information on the case to call the Sheriff's Office at (307) 875-1400.
