Seven new Wyoming Highway Patrol officers were sworn in by Wyoming Supreme Court Justice William Hill on November 6th.

The new troopers have completed up to 28 weeks of academy training in such areas as traffic law  firearms, impaired driving, crash investigation and many others. The seven new troopers are:

Shane Carraher, Badge #94, Wheatland.
Joshua Carris, Badge #77, Rock Springs.
Peter Cross, Badge #78, Riverton.
Taylor Hanssen, Badge #125, Wheatland
Remington Roberts, Badge #47, Kemmerer
John Williams, Badge #122, Patrick Draw
Jaime Wingard #124, Lusk
The swearing in and commissioning ceremony was held at the Wyoming Supreme Court building in Cheyenne.
The new troopers will now move into the field training program on state highways before they begin patrolling on their own.
