The 2014 Wyoming State Future Farmers of America (FFA) Convention finds its way to the capitol city this year! Agricultural students from around the Cowboy State will make their way to Cheyenne for their state convention, which runs April 7 - April 10, 2014.

Organizers stated that this year, they expect 1700 members to flood the city this week. Attendees get to see all the events as they sport their traditional blue corduroy jackets. This years theme is "Ride For The Brand", which they borrowed from the Code of the West.

Each night the members will engage in sessions that will zero their focus on a few different aspects of the Code of the West. FFA Members are using Cheyenne as a dressing room - of sorts - for taking part in career developments events in order to qualify for the nationals. These events include: sales, parliamentary procedure, and livestock judging, to name a few.
