The annual Wyoming walk to raise funds to help those suffering from Alzheimer's and to help find a cure fell just short of their 2017 goal, but they are still pushing for year-end goals.

They were hoping to raise $75,000, but fell a little shy at $62,000. The walk might be over, but donations are accepted at any time through their website.

Wyoming has a higher per-capita rate of those suffering from the disease than most states. That means the number of family members who are caregiving a loved one is a larger percentage of the state's population than most.

Any little bit will help them reach their goal for 2017.
