WYO 130 over Snowy Range Pass is closed due to blizzard conditions. The alpine highway was reopened for the summer season on May 23, but a new storm bringing snow, ice, high winds and poor visibility forced WYDOT to close it again Friday.

WYDOT District Maintenance Engineer Tim McGary said the highway would remain closed Friday night. Crews will attempt to reopen it Saturday morning, but the current weather forecast is for continued winter conditions. If the crews cannot reopen the highway Saturday, they will make another attempt Sunday, when the forecast calls for clearing conditions.
