Workplace Safety Grant Program Coming Soon

Wyoming Department of Workforce Services Director Joan Evans says companies doing business in Wyoming will soon be able to apply  for grants designed to improve workplace safety. Evans says the program will allow companies to, for example, get grants to purchase equipment designed to reduce back injuries caused by employees lifting heavy items in the workplace. Evans says the program, approved  and funded by the state legislature earlier this year, should be up and running within the next few days.
