Habitat for Humanity of Laramie County and Lowe's teamed up for National Women Build Week. Now in its sixth year, the week challenges women to devote at least one day to help build affordable housing in their local communities. The program recruits, educates and inspires women to advocate for simple, decent and affordable houses in their communities. Habitat for Humanity of Laramie County, Executive Director Kate Wright, says the volunteers from Cheyenne spent Saturday  working to install siding on one of the Habitat homes in Laramie County. Wright says the two homes in Laramie County are being built by the construction trades programs at East and Central High Schools.
