Woman Arrested in New Year’s Stabbing

A 29 year old Cheyenne woman was arrested early Tuesday morning in connection with a stabbing at Goofy's bar at 2801 East Lincolnway, and her brother was arrested as an accessory after the fact. according to a spokesman for the Cheyenne Police Department.

Officer Dan Long says police were called to the bar shortly before 2am on a report of a large fight. Long says upon arrival officers found a 29 year old Cheyenne woman had been stabbed. She was transported by ambulance to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, where her current condition is unknown. The name of the victim has not so far been released. Long says officers  arrested 29 year old Candace Serrano of Cheyenne for Aggravated Assault, and she was booked into the Laramie County Detention Center.

Long says 24 year old Gabriele Serrano of Denver was also arrested as an accessory after the fact to the stabbing. Police say he is the brother of Candace Serrano and was also booked into the detention facility, according to Long.
