Strong winds are expected to create dangerous driving conditions across portions of southeast Wyoming along and west of Interstate 25 this afternoon through late tonight.

Due to extreme blow over risk, the Wyoming Department of Transportation has closed I-25 between Cheyenne and Wheatland to lightweight, high-profile vehicles.

Winter Storm Warnings have also been posted for the Sierra Madre and Snowy ranges, where an additional one to three feet of snow is expected to fall tonight through Wednesday night.

Drivers are encouraged to dial 511 or go to www.wyoroad.info for the latest road conditions.
