Wilson Recognized for Outstanding Service

Bruce Wilson (Doug Randall/TSM)

Bruce Wilson, Chief Building official for the City of Cheyenne Building Safety Department, was awarded the Outstanding Service Award from the Wyoming Conference of Building Officials last week in Laramie. The award is given to a member of the organization who has rendered outstanding and meritorious  service in continuance of the objectives of that organization, which is a state chapter of the International Code Council. Wilson has worked for the  city since 1978. At a press conference Tuesday morning in Cheyenne, Wilson was  praised by Jon Narva, Fire Prevention Officer for the Cheyenne Fire and Rescue Department, as someone who ”works to make sure the buildings you and I are in are safe”.
