Here's a new way to support Wyoming's wildlife, with a wildlife-themed specialty license plate that's just become available. The Wildlife Conservation License Plate was made possible by a bill that passed in the Wyoming Legislature last year, House Bill 0039 introduced by Rep. Stan Blake of Sweetwater County.

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department says proceeds from the new license plate will help with wildlife conservation efforts related to the transportation system, including wildlife corridors, wildlife crossings, fencing, and signage.

According to the Wyoming Department of Transportation, the plates are available for "any motor vehicle that is not a commercial or multipurpose vehicle" for a $150.00 fee that goes to the Wildlife Conservation Fund, plus the $30.00 specialty plate fee.
