What Memories Do You Have Of This Cheyenne Building?

Do you have any memories from this green building in east Cheyenne?

The former Daisy Dukes bar and package liquor is 'closed for good' according to a sign on the drive-thru window. What do you remember about the former Goofy's Tavern?

Have you ever been inside the building at 2801 East Lincolnway? I've stopped through their drive-thru window a few times and had a couple drinks at the bar when it was Goofy's Taven.

When I drove by a few days ago, Daisy Dukes was closed. It looks like it will soon become part of the Lincolnway Super Pawn which has been going through some renovation recently.

Goofy's Tavern was in that location for several years. The bar was owned partly by Howard Zabel who also owned the Balloon Family in Cheyenne.

My Wife's Mother used to manage the bar when it was called Disco Danny's. Tell us if you remember that era of this green building in the early 1980's. They would hold teen nights, and my Wife would help serve soft drinks to the young dancers.

There have been some good times at this place and also some bad times, including several fights in the parking lot. Let us know what memories you have of this Cheyenne building, soon to be gone.
