Health and wellness is a big deal for many of us as people. If you look around, you may have some of these items sitting around the house. If you don't, it won't be to difficult to acquire them.

  • Believe it or not, many people recommend and use disposable diapers to help retain water in their plants. It's really easy to do. Simply place the diaper underneath the soil in your pot. This will help the plant maintain a good water source, without draining too fast.
  • If you are experiencing fungal problems with your plants, such as: Mildew, rust or black spot, which can ultimately destroy your plants, try aspirin. According to those in the arena of science horticulture, a few uncoated aspirin, dissolved in about a quart of water will help to take out these diseases and slow their growth.
1 to 3 tablespoons of molasses to a gallon of fertilizer. You may be wondering why in the world you would do this? It's pretty simple - this mixture adds healthy food microbes to the soil for good plant growth optimization.
