Water and Sewer Projects Begin July 15th in Cheyenne

Board of Public Utilities spokesman Clint Bassett says as part of ongoing efforts to maintain Cheyenne’s water and sewer systems, the City of Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities expects construction in the following areas during the upcoming week. This list consists of the projects that require traffic controls and may be of interest to motorists and customers. It is not intended as a summary of all water and sewer activities.

Garrett Street – Closed to through traffic between East 19th St. and Campbell Avenue. Purpose:Fire hydrant replacement. Expected Dates: 7/15/2013 to 7/26/2013

Dover Road – Closed to through traffic between Essex Road and Milton Drive. Purpose:Replace asphalt damaged by water main leak. Expected Dates: 7/16/13 to 7/17/13

Sunset Drive – Closed to through traffic between East Carlson Street and Kornegay Court. Purpose:Street work following sewer line repairs. Expected Dates: 6/25/13 to 7/19/13

Walterscheid Boulevard – Closed between West Fox Farm Road and West Allison Drive.   Purpose:Street work following water main installation. Expected Dates: 6/10/13 to 7/19/13. Local business and residential access is available.

Walterscheid Boulevard – Lane and street closures between West Allison Drive and West College Drive. West Allison closed at Walterscheid Boulevard.  Purpose:Water main installation. Expected Dates: 7/12/13 to 8/3/13. Local business and residential access is available on Walterscheid Blvd.
