What would 2015 be if we didn't close out another great year without someone trying to hack or scam someone? Well, they're back and just in time for Christmas.

The United States Postal Service is warning customers to be careful of a delivery scam being perpetuated by scammers and hackers.

Should you receive an email with the subject line reading "USPS Failed Delivery Notification", or something like that, do not open it. They have found that hackers are sending these messages to peoples inbox, via email.

Should you open it, the hackers are able to gather your usernames, passwords and other highly sensitive information belonging to you or your family.

The hackers may also send "notices" that seem to be coming from FedEx and UPS. Another problem is that everything looks like it legitimately came from these carriers. Should you receive such a notice, don't open it and if you have questions about a potential package, call the carrier direct.
