At just a tad past 7 p.m Sunday, the mighty Air Force Thunderbirds landed at the Cheyenne airport, ready for their performance at Cheyenne Frontier Days.

Even just landing at the airport was an awesome sight. You can watch it in the video above.

The Thunderbird Air Show begins at 9:30 a.m.  Air Show parking access roads will be closed starting at 9 a.m.

Access roads closed. Please plan your arrival.

The USAF Thunderbirds Air Show will be 9:30 a.m. July 26, 2017, above Laramie County Community College, 1400 East College Drive. Parking at LCCC begins at 7 a.m.

The best way to avoid traffic would be to take a free Park ‘n Ride shuttle to the show. The remote pick-up lots are located at Holliday Home Plaza, (Ashley Furniture parking lot), 3000 Nationway and Cheyenne Plaza (Hobby Lobby parking lot), 3505 E. Lincolnway.

There will be live music before the air show performed by Wild Blue Country, a live active duty Air Force Band.

The amaizing UH-1N helicopters from FEWFB Helo Squadron will perform touch and goes after that followed by a WYANG C-130, which will drop more than 2000 gallons of water showing their firefighting techniques.

It is suggested you bring lawn chairs, umbrellas, water, and sun screen.
