Crewmembers from the USS Cheyenne (SSN-773) nuclear submarine are in town this week to take in the sights and events of the Cheyenne Frontier Days rodeo. Chief of the Boat, Master Chief Michael Hinkle says the crew really looks forward to participating in the rodeo events. He adds that "everyone has treated the crew like family,"  and added "it's one of the friendliest places I've ever been."

The crew spent Wednesday getting up close and personal with some of the events as they got the opportunity to view the rodeo from behind the bucking chutes. On Friday the crew members are scheduled to participate in the final Cheyenne Frontier Days free pancake breakfast.

The USS Cheyenne is the last of the Los Angeles Class nuclear attack subs. It's home port is Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
