The University of Wyoming is ranked among the nation’s top online Master of Educational Administration degree programs.

That’s according to the Online Schools Center, which ranks UW among the nation’s top 20 such programs.  The list is not ordered numerically – instead, it features the unique strengths of each school based on factors such as accreditation, cost, financial aid availability, coursework options, 100 percent online availability, and degree outcomes.

The citation says “Ranked 7th in the nation for best value, the University of Wyoming’s Master’s Degree in Educational Administration, K-12, provides students with a wealth of knowledge and experience to form their future careers as educational leaders.”

Associate Dean of the UW College of Education and professor Suzanne Young says UW graduated seven master’s students and 20 certificate students in spring 2015.  Right now, 44 master’s students are working toward their principal educational administration certificates.

The Online Schools Center says graduates from the top programs “will affect systematic change within a school system and can guarantee a high level of job security and stability as a principal, vice principal, superintendent and more.”
