CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming’s unemployment rate stood at 4 percent in June, down from 4.6 percent for the same month last year.

The Research & Planning section of the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services reports that the state’s unemployment rate has remained between 3.7 percent to 4 percent since March.

Over the last year, 17 Wyoming counties have seen decreases in their unemployment rates. Three counties saw increases and three were unchanged.

The state’s unemployment rate is significantly lower than the current national unemployment rate of 6.1 percent.
