A single vehicle rollover crash on April 3rd west of Pavillion, Wyoming resulted in the death of 40 year old Theodore E. Aaberg of Wilson, Wyoming. The crash happened at 11:00 p.m. on US Highway 26 approximately 1 mile west of Pavillion.

Aaberg was driving a pickup truck eastbound when the truck drifted off the road. Mr. Aaberg overcorrected back on the highway and the truck entered a spin. During the spin, the vehicle left the road to the north and rolled. Aaberg was not wearing his seat belt and was ejected from the truck during the crash and died at the scene.

28 year old Christine Fenton of Jackson, Wyoming was a front seat passenger in the truck during the crash and was buckled in. Fenton was injured and flown to Sage West Health Care in Riverton, Wyoming and hospitalized. Her status is unknown at this time.

The crash did cause a temporary closure of the highway. Driving while impaired by alcohol is being investigated as the contributing factor in this crash which marked the 27th highway fatality in Wyoming for 2015. There were 27 highway fatalities during this same time period in 2014.
