Uinta County Emergency Responders Rescue Dog From Crash Scene

Uinta County Fire and Ambulance crews were able to safely remove a dog from a two-semi crash on Thursday afternoon on the Interstate 80 westbound lane on Thursday afternoon.

The accident occurred near milepost 9, which was closed for almost half an hour because of the crash. One truck driver was sent to an Evanston hospital, according to a post on the Uinta County Fire and Ambulance Facebook page.

The dog was taken to a local vet, where he was reported to be in good condition. The crash remains under investigation by the Wyoming Highway Patrol.
