The U.S. Marshals Service led Wyoming Fugitive Task Force is looking for an escaped Cheyenne fugitive with a long criminal history of rape, aggravated assault and resisting arrest.

Forty-eight-year-old Anthony "Tony" Kluesner is wanted on four felony warrants, two for failing to register as a sex offender, one for parole violation with an original charge of armed robbery and one for escape from the halfway house in Cheyenne.

"He took off on July 14 from the halfway house," said Deputy U.S. Marshal Justin Stephenson. "We're not sure if he had the means to leave the state, but I don't think he has a lot of ties family-wise or friend-wise to the state either."

Kluesner is a 6-foot-4 white male weighing about 200 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on Kluesner's whereabouts is asked to call the Laramie County Sheriff's Department at (307) 633-4732, Silent Witness at (307) 638-TIPS, the U.S. Marshals Service at (307) 772-2196 or Cheyenne Police dispatch at (307) 637-6524.
