Two Laramie Residents were arrested on methamphetamine charges on Thursday April, 4.

According to court paperwork Lisa Diane Bailey and Terry Lee Norris were arrested following an investigation by a task force of the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation.

An affidavit filed in Albany County Circuit Court says that more than one informant had made accusations of Bailey as being in possession and being a user of methamphetamine.  One accusation from an informant alleges that Bailey was traveling to Denver to obtain the drug and was selling it in Laramie.

Law enforcement officials served a search warrant on Bailey’s West Laramie home, where they made contact with both Bailey and Norris.

During a search of the home, investigators say they found approximately 3.23 grams of suspected methamphetamine.

During an interview with law enforcement, the affidavit claims that Bailey said that she traveled to Denver, Colorado on April 3 to purchase methamphetamine with Norris.

Norris and Bailey both cried during their initial Circuit Court appearance before Magistrate Tori Kricken.  Wearing black and grey jail jumpsuits as well as arm and leg shackles, the pair heard the charges against them.

Bailey is charged with felony delivery of a controlled substance and felony possession of methamphetamine.

Norris is charged with felony possession of methamphetamine.

Both suspects are currently in custody with each having a $10,000 cash bond.
