The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services’s (DWS) Cheyenne Workforce Center will host a tri-state job fair for veterans in Cheyenne on Friday, April 13th, from 10 A.M. to 6 P.M., at Storey Gym (2811 House Avenue), in partnership with the Colorado Department of Labor & Employment and Nebraska Workforce  Development.

“The Cheyenne tri-state job fair is a great opportunity for our community’s military and National Guard veterans to connect with a wide variety of employers who are hiring and actively seeking former service members to join their teams,” said Joan Evans, Director of the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services. “This event, our first tri-state effort, has generated strong interest from employers all over the region. Wyoming DWS is looking forward to a great event with our partners, the Colorado Department of Labor & Employment and Nebraska Workforce Development. I encourage veterans seeking a new career path, lasting jobs or networking opportunities to attend.”

Nearly 50 employers from Wyoming, Colorado and Nebraska in the fields of construction, energy, manufacturing, transportation and government will participate.

There is no fee to attend the job fair. Job seekers are encouraged to bring resumes and dress for potential interviews.

Veterans Representatives for DWS Workforce Centers are located in Casper, Cheyenne, Evanston, Gillette, Laramie, Riverton, Rock Springs, and Sheridan, and provide services in surrounding communities.
