The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) has posted travel restrictions and warnings for Interstate 25 and Interstate 80 in southeast Wyoming as of 5 a.m. Friday (Dec. 29).

Interstate 80 is closed to light, high profile vehicles from Cheyenne to Walcott Junction, with an "extreme blow over risk" warning in effect for that stretch of I-80 as well.

Meanwhile, Interstate 25 is closed to light, high profile vehicles from the Colorado state line to Wheatland, and an ''extreme blow over risk" advisory has also been posted for that stretch of highway.

The National Weather Service Office in Cheyenne is predicting winds of up 75 miles per hour for much of southeast Wyoming through Friday and into Saturday.
