This Saturday marks the last home game for the University of Wyoming Cowboy Football team. The Cowboys will be going head to head against the New Mexico Lobos at War Memorial Stadium. The Marine Corps Toys For Tots program will be collecting new and unwrapped toys at various locations in the stadium.

Toys for Tots collection points will be located at Gates 1,3,4,6,7 and 8 in War Memorial Stadium. Besides new and unwrapped toys cash donations will also be accepted. Cash will be used to purchase additional toys. Volunteers will also be available at Tailgate Park and in Cowboy Joe donor parking lots. All of the toy donations will remain in Laramie and Albany County.

The Cowboys are coming off a hard fought win against the Air Force Falcons. In the prior two games the Cowboys have forced at least four turnovers. Their average margin is +1.56. The numbers the Pokes have compiled now rank them as 2nd in the nation in turnover margin.  Leading in that category is undefeated Oklahoma State. If the Cowboys win it would earn them bowl-eligible status. The Pokes will also be seeking their second bowl-eligible season in the three years.

Tomorrow is the last home game of the season and it’s also Senior Day. That means the Cowboys are in it to win it! If they go on to defeat the Lobos, the Pokes record will stand at 7-3 overall and 4-1 in the Mountain West Conference! To check out more of the Cowboys outstanding stats click here!
