The South Cheyenne Community Development Association has scheduled a Town Hall Meeting on Plan Cheyenne and the Unified Development Code (UDC) for Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Laramie County Library

Association spokesman Eric Miller says the association, which recently voted against Plan Cheyenne, has concerns about the plans changing the western character of Cheyenne in general and South Cheyenne in particular. The proposed changes might affect Cheyenne's overall feel to one that is likable to Fort Collins and other Colorado communities.

The plans are heavy on integrating bicycle paths, which might discourage automobile use. Miller says that just isn't practical, especially for many elderly and disabled residents.
