There is nothing like fresh fruit and veggies from local producers here in Cheyenne, but today is the last day to fill your basket.

The Cheyenne Depot Plaza hosts the Farmer's Market every year. Every year thousands of consumer's shop all of the great items from local vendors and producers. Items like homemade breads, mustard and jellies.

You can also get your fill on organic fresh fruit like peaches, apples and cantaloupe. Not to mention the fresh, home-grown cucumbers, onions, leaks and pumpkins. It truly is a great time between the first week in August to the first week in October.

Since today, Saturday October 4, 2014 is the end of the first week of the month, it's time to say farewell to all the vendors until next year. So take advantage of the day and head down to the Cheyenne Farmers Market at the Downtown Cheyenne Depot before noon and get a taste of regional foods and products. Doors open at 7 a.m. See you all next year!
