No one was injured in a rollover crash Friday afternoon which shut down the eastbound lanes of US 30 about 7 miles west of Medicine Bow. The Wyoming Highway Patrol says the  crash occurred just before 1:00p.m. when a tractor trailer combination which was pulling two tanker trailers, rolled coming to rest just off the roadway when the driver swerved.  The combination was hauling 39,000 pounds of liquid asphalt sealer which has to be kept hot. This particular load was kept at 340 degrees. The rear trailer was breeched when it rolled and approximately 3,000 gallons of the hot mixture spilled into the right-of-way. Before the mess could be cleaned up it had to cool, which resulted in the closure.

No waterways, water sources or ponds/lakes have been affected by the spill. The tanker trucks origin began at Sinclair and the load was destined for a local asphalt plant doing a project in Cheyenne.
