Cheyenne Mayor Rick Kaysen says negotiations are continuing between the city and the Kansas company which owns 2/3 of the property on Lincolnway commonly referred to as ''the hole''. The city already owns 1/3 of the property, and would like to purchase the remainder to allow for either the development of the property or it's re-sale. The property, which once was the site of a bakery that was destroyed by a fire, is widely considered an eyesore in it's current state. Kaysen says he is hopeful negotiations for the purchase can be wrapped up in the next couple of months or so, although he adds that timetable ''is not definitive".
