Cheyenne International Film Festival Opens Tonight – Schedule

Tonight is the kickoff of the Cheyenne International Film Festival, with a community reception at the Depot from 5-7 pm. Events continue through Sunday night; a full schedule is after the jump.

Our own Jon Green will be photographing the event and posting updates throughout the three-day event. Tickets are required for most events and are available online or at Phoenix Books & Music, 1612 Capitol.

Wyoming Short Film Contest Winner

 

A short film by Preston Randolph called "The Summer of 81," filmed near Meeteetse, Wyoming is the winner of this year’s Wyoming Short Film Contest. The short tells the story of Wyoming man, Bob Taylor and the spirit and struggles of his life's journey. From teaching in the city, to being a Cowboy in Wyoming, to raising his family without electricity in the cabin he built by hand, and of course baseball.
