			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The <strong>Wyoming Department of Transportation </strong>has been awarded<strong> $20 million</strong> in federal funding to help recover repair costs for numerous <strong>Wyoming roadways</strong> damaged by <strong>natural disaster</strong> during the spring and early summer of 2011. The reimbursement was announced earlier this month by the<strong> U.S. Department of  Transportation.</strong> In total the state will receive <strong>$20.8 million</strong> to reimburse the state for work undertaken on an emergency or urgent basis at nearly <strong>60</strong> sites located in <strong>13 counties.

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>One month and a day after they began, WYDOT crews from <strong>Laramie</strong> and <strong>Saratoga</strong> broke through historically deep and heavy snowpack on <strong>WYO 130</strong>. The alpine  roadway between <strong>Centennial</strong> and <strong>Saratoga</strong> is now open for the season. WYDOT spokesman <strong>Ross Doman</strong> says the men worked 60 hour weeks. The last ten working days, dozers moved snow  until midnight. Equipment dedicated to the high country snow removal campaign  included three snow cats, four dozers, six rotary blowers, and two plows.Motorists are advised that these turnaround spots are open on <strong>WYO 130:</strong> Libby Turn Loop, Libby Flats Observation Area, Medicine Bow Peak  Overlook, both  East and West Lake Marie turnarounds, and the Silver  Lake parking lot.
