CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — The U.S. Supreme Court has vacated a life sentence for a Wyoming teenager in the 2009 home invasion killing of a Sheridan man. The court this month sent Wyatt Bear Cloud’s case back to the Wyoming Supreme Court for reconsideration.

The Wyoming Supreme Court says it won't hear from two civil rights groups that wanted to argue in support of a Sheridan teenager who is appealing the life sentence he received after pleading guilty to a home invasion murder. Doug Randall reports. There' is already a candidate throwing his hat in the ring for Senator John Barrasso's senate seat. Author and Lusk resident Thomas Bleming announced his intention to challenge Barrasso in 2012.
