Deadline For Photo Contest Saturday [AUDIO]

The University of Wyoming's only peer-reviewed scientific journal ''Rocky Mountain Geology'', is celebrating it's 50th anniversary this year. Editor and Geology Professor Art Snoke says the journal fills an important niche as a high-quality journal devoted to the region's unique geological features. State Increases Elk License Limit [AUDIO]

Campbell County Economic Development and the University of Wyoming are moving forward with plans to build a new business incubator at the University of Wyoming. Lummis Co-Sponsors American Privacy Act [AUDIO]

USDA Says Money Available to Fund Crop Insurance [AUDIO]

Bill Murphy of the USDA Risk Management Agency says that agency will have the necessary funding available to handle potential crop insurance claims related to the drought conditions much of the country is experiencing. A team of students, faculty, staff and administrators from the University of Wyoming joined similar teams from 32 institutions across the country in Washington D.C. recently to learn about ways to improve the health of their students by reducing risks associated with high-risk drinking. Poaching Incident Under Investigation [AUDIO]

The National Science Foundation has chosen seven University of Wyoming Research projects that will use the National Center For Atmospheric Research (NCAR) supercomputing center in Cheyenne this fall. U-W Mathematics Professor Bryan Shader says the computational researchers are working on projects that are of great importance to Wyoming. The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is seeking information about a poaching incident near Sierra Trading Post in Cheyenne last month in which a pronghorn antelope was illegally killed.
