Postal Service Cuts to Save $2 Billion
A spokesman for the U.S. Postal Service says the elimination of regular Saturday mail delivery on August 5 and other cost-cutting moves should save the agency roughly $2 billion per year.

Postal Service Mailing Deadlines Approaching
A spokesman for the U.S. Postal Service says deadlines for mailing items to reach their destination by Christmas Day is fast approaching.
David Rupert says the deadline for Christmas packages to Afghanistan has already passed, although he says the service will do everything it can to get cards and packages there as quickly as possible
Letter Carriers ‘Stamp Out Hunger’ Food Drive Saturday
On Saturday May 12, Cheyenne and Laramie County letter carriers will help ''stamp out hunger" by conducting the largest single day food drive in the nation, according to Sara Weber with United Way of Laramie County. She says people can contribute to the drive by leaving non- perishable items such as canned goods, rice and pasta by their mail boxes Saturday.
Bairoil, Jay Em Retain Post Offices [AUDIO]
The U-S Postal Service has decided to continue operating post offices in the Wyoming Communities of Bairoil and Jay Em. But the future of several other small-town post offices, including in such communities as Byron and Frontier, remains in doubt. Amy Richards has a report.
