Officials Expect Active Fire Season [AUDIO]

Environmentalists, Forest Service Reach Agreement [AUDIO]

An environmental group says it has reached an agreement with the U-S Forest Service to remove some corrals the group considered to be a barrier to pronghorn migration in western Wyoming. Air Guard Crews Train for Fighting Wildfires

Select C-130 cargo plane crews with the Wyoming Air National Guard's 153rd Airlift Wing are conducting annual Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System II training with the U.S. Forest Service at the Wyoming Air National Guard Base, in Cheyenne and at Camp Guernsey Joint Training Center in Guernsey this week. During training, the WYANG works closely with the Forest Service, who owns the MAFFS II units, to accomplish the mission.

Skiers Want Snowmobile Ban on Parts Togwotee Pass [AUDIO]

As U.S. Forest Service officials work to revise a plan for managing the Shoshone National Forest, some skiers are calling for a snowmobile ban near Two Oceans Peak on Togwotee Pass. Doug Randall has the details. Sheep and lamb inventory in Wyoming was up 1-percent in January from the previous year. Yellowstone National Park officials captured and killed a female Grizzly bear over the weekend believed to be linked to two deaths in the park this summer. Salazar Recognizes Sage Grouse Conservation [AUDIO]
