Forester Urges Evacuation Readiness (AUDIO)

The Wyoming Department of Corrections has issued a comprehensive statewide release policy in response to an April 10th incident where an inmate was released from the state penitentiary in error. Amy Richards has a report. Wyoming State Forester Bill Crapser says wildland fires are likely to be a continuing hazard over the next few weeks and is urging people who may  be in affected areas to be ready to evacuate. Mead Requests Fracking Comment Extension [AUDIO]

Governor Matt Mead is asking Interior Secretary Ken Salazar to extend the comment period on proposed hydraulic fracturing rules, which the governor says duplicate Wyoming's rules and are cumbersome and unncessary. Amy Richards reports. Wyoming State Forester Bill Crapser is warning residents to be extremely careful with all outdoor activities that could start a fire.
