Operation Enduring Freedom Veterans Day October 7th
The U.S. Senate recently passed a resolution that designates October 7, 2012 as Operation Enduring Freedom Veterans Day. The resolution was introduced by U.S. Senators Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., Kelly Ayotte, R-N.H., and Mark Begich, D-Alaska, to honor the brave men and women who served and sacrificed for the United States in Operation Enduring Freedom.
Senators Introduce Bill To Restore AML Money
A bipartisan group of U.S. senators introduced legislation this week that would restore the money owed to coal producing states from the Abandoned Mine Land (AML) Trust Fund. In June, the House and Senate passed a two-year transportation bill which included a provision that raided trust funds used for reclaiming abandoned mine lands.

Wyoming Senator Mike Enzi is one of four U.S. Senators co-sponsoring a bill to designate Oct. 12, 2012 as ''Operation Enduring Freedom Veteran's Day". Amy Richards reports. Wyoming resident big game hunters are reminded the deadline to apply for limited quota elk, deer, and antelope licenses is coming up on May 31.
