Natural Gas Document Release Delayed (AUDIO)

Bridger-Teton National Forest officials have delayed releasing a document that will decide the extent of a proposed natural gas development in western Wyoming. Amy Richards has a report. Due to the current weather conditions fire restrictions have been elevated to Stage II across the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forests and the Thunder Basin National Grassland. Forest Tree Planting Project Underway [AUDIO]

Tree planting is in full swing in the Brush Creek-Hayden Ranger District of the Medicine Bow/Routt National Forest. Amy Richards has a report. May 11 is the last day that artwork from the 29th annual Conservation Stamp Art Competition can be seen at the Wyoming Game and Fish Department Headquarters in Cheyenne, according to Game and Fish spokesman Al Nash. Summer-like temperatures and low snowpack have opened many roads in the Medicine Bow and Routt National Forests, but other roads are still closed, so visitors should check ahead of time to make sure the roads they want to use are open. Amy Richards has details. According to the latest Wyoming Comparative Cost of Living Index, Teton County remains the most expensive place to live in Wyoming, mostly due to high housing costs.
